Growing up in Buffalo Grove, IL, Carey once dreamed of being a ballerina and recalls the birth of her younger brother as one of her fondest childhood memories. Today, she’s one of Korcare Spa’s most popular and in-demand massage therapists. Carey attended the Cortiva Institute (CMST) and specializes in sports and deep tissue massage.


She believes that lifestyle plays the most defining role in a person’s overall state of wellness, and regards herself as an equally devoted steward of the environment and promoter of world peace. The most influential person in Carey’s life is her husband, who, in her own words, “Makes me want to do the best I can every day.” She enjoys volunteering her time whenever possible, exploring the city or just kicking back to enjoy such television shows as Dexter, Burn Notice and CSI.


While her roots are strongly planted in Chicago, she looks forward to one day visiting Greece, Italy. Until then, she remains inspired by the wise words of Maya Angelou: “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude towards it.”
