Korcare manager Amy Rockway may have dreams of sitting on the beach somewhere warmer like Florida or Tahiti but we hope she stays in Illinois for a long time to come. Amy joined the Korcare staff when the spa first opened its doors in 2006, and she's been contributing to our growth ever since with her contagious passion for people… and her dedication to natural health.


Although she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up, Amy instead received her degree in finance from Loyola University and earned a spot on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade where she worked for 13 years. Those 13 years translated to lots and lots of - STRESS! So feeling the need to be involved with a career that's less wearing and more nurturing, Amy found her way to an ad for a spa receptionist through what she says was “fate.”


When you have the opportunity to meet Amy, you'll soon realize she is full of wisdom and has the knack of putting everyone at ease with a first hello. She feels the most important factors affecting well-being are a positive attitude and outlook, along with self-acceptance. Some of her words of wisdom… “You get out of life what you put into it. The more natural and healthy you are, the better your quality of life.”


Amy claims she's become a much nicer person since coming to work at Korcare. We happen to think Korcare is a much nicer place because of Amy!!
